Surrey County Council
Surrey County Council is the lead partner for the Surrey Safety Camera Partnership. The County Council has approximately 28,000 members of staff and provides services to more than one million residents in the county.
Surrey Police
Surrey Police is the other lead partner in the Surrey Safety Camera Partnership. They are working closely with local authorities and highways agencies to build on a wide range of tactics to reduce casualties and collisions throughout the county.
Highways Agency
The Highways Agency is one of the Surrey Safety Camera Partnership’s key partners. The Highways Agency is an Executive Agency of the Department for Transport (DfT), and is responsible for operating, maintaining and improving the strategic road network in England on behalf of the Secretary of State for Transport. Her Majesty's Courts Service (HMCS)
Her Majesty's Courts Service (HMCS) is another key partner of the Surrey Safety Camera Partnership. An executive agency of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), their remit is to deliver justice effectively and efficiently to the public. They are responsible for managing the magistrates' courts, the Crown Court, county courts, the High Court and Court of Appeal in England and Wales.
THINK! Road Safety
THINK! Road Safety campaigns are managed by Government ‘s Department for Transport (DfT) and are aimed at changing driver behaviour and raising awareness of road safety issues.
Brake
Brake is a road safety charity dedicated to stopping deaths and injuries on roads through awareness-raising campaigns, including Road Safety Week and educational resources including leaflets, posters and advertisements. They also offer support to people bereaved and injured on the road.
Roadpeace
Roadpeace is the UK's national charity dedicated to supporting bereaved and injured road crash victims. RoadPeace champions the rights of road crash victims and aims to reduce the causes of road crashes.
RoSPA
RoSPA's Road Safety Department raises awareness about the causes of road accidents and promotes measures to help prevent them or reduce their severity. The Department provides information, education, training and publicity resources and services for road users and road safety professionals.
Safer Surrey Heath Partnership
A Partnership committed to making Surrey Heath an even safer place to live and work. The partners are Surrey Heath Borough Council, Surrey County Council, Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, Surrey Police, Surrey Primary Care Trust (PCT) and Surrey Police Authority.
Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM)
The Institute of Advanced Motorists aim to improve the standard of driving (and riding) on the UK roads, promote the advancement of road safety and can provide the administration of an Advanced Test.
Driving for Better Business
Driving for Better Business aims to develop and co-ordinate a network of employers and champions to promote good practice in Work Related Road Safety in order to catalyse a reduction in deaths and injuries caused by vans and cars used for business purposes.
